Angela & Ryan’s Wedding at the Villa in East Bridgewater

Romance is synonymous with weddings but it isn’t always about the bride and groom. Proof of this is Angela and Ryan who first met each other at their friends’ wedding. Fast forward to today after Ryan proposed to Angela on New Year’s Eve, they find themselves as the bride and groom. Angela and Ryan got married on a beautiful day at the Villa in East Bridgewater where they held both the ceremony and reception. We started off at Angela’s mother’s house where she and her maid of honor Kylene got dressed for the big day.  While getting ready Angela showed me a hanky that was worn by her when she was brought home as a baby from the hospital and would also be worn on her wedding day as her “something old”. Once she was ready, Angela and her father then hopped into a classic Cadillac for a short trip to the Villa, where Ryan would meet us shortly thereafter for the “first look.”   I really enjoy doing first looks because it’s so raw.  The bride and groom have so much pent up emotion that when they see each other for the first time on their wedding day there is a moment of true honesty about how they feel not said out loud but spoken through their eyes.  Angela and Ryan didn’t disappoint, as you will see, the love is apparent between these two and I’m honored they invited me to share their special day.

Congratulations Angela & Ryan!
