I was visiting my mom’s house this weekend where she has beautiful flowers in her backyard. I was inspired to put together a quick and simple flower arrangement for the DIY bride. So I reused an old vase, clipped a few flowers from her garden and voila – Simple and elegant centerpiece.
The pink flowers are Pink Sedums and the middle greenish-white flower is a Pinky Winky Hydrangea (Yes, that is what they are really named.) I placed a few rocks on the bottom of the vase so it is less likely to tip over and to add a variety of color to the centerpiece. I think it adds a nice earthly feel.
