“Sweet” Wedding Ideas at Candy Pop Sweet Shoppe

One wedding trend that I’ve noticed to be more colorful than the flowers at wedding is candy!  From wedding favors to self-serve candy buffets, using candy is a fun, colorful, and tasty idea for any wedding.  While roaming around in my hometown, I was really excited to discover that there was a new candy shop that has become quite the “treat” in Marblehead.  Candy Pop Sweet Shoppe, located at 152 Washington Street in Marblehead Massachusetts, is a classic sweet shop that not only offers a wide variety of candy but also other sweets like popcorn, fudge, whoopie pies, and more.  I stopped in one day to see if they had any fun ideas to incorporate candy at weddings and Traci Teague the owner of Candy Pop Sweet Shoppe was happy to share.

For a nautical or beach-themed wedding, I love this idea of “Lobsters on the Rocks.”

For a more classic or elegant look, I love these chocolates.

What I love most about these candy jars for weddings is that the candy colors can really make a reception table “pop”. You can also personalize each jar to be a wedding favor or even a unique way to tell guests their seating assignments. One cool thing to know is that if you buy these jars at Candy Pop Sweet Shoppe they are refillable and you will get a little discount on the candy each time you use it.

The variety of candy and colors you could choose to coordinate with your wedding theme is endless! If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend trying to incorporate candy at your wedding or even at a bridal or baby shower.  Candy can be enjoyed at any special occasion.

If you ever find yourself in Marblehead, please be sure to stop by Candy Pop Sweet Shoppe.  For more information please visit their Facebook page.
